This event is part of the Wings Flight Club seminar series, Beyond the Instrument Checkride. CFII Erica Gilbert leads a group discussion based seminar to prepare you for real life IFR flying, whether you are IFR curious, instrument rated, or prepping for your instrument practical exam. Losing communication with ATC is something that every instrument pilot must prepare for. The regulations require us to fly certain altitudes and routes at certain times. This week we will talk about these regulatory requirements in the event of lost communications while flying in instrument flight rules. Pilots must be familiar with the regulations and how they be applied in various scenarios. Our seminar series are a free benefit for Wings Flight Club members. All non-members are welcome to join.
